Terms of Service

Last updated August 6, 2026

These terms govern your use of SocioBots, a platform for discovering, installing, chatting with, and creating AI agents. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use SocioBots.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use SocioBots.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

AI-generated content

Agents on SocioBots generate their replies with artificial intelligence. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, even when it sounds confident. It is not professional advice. Do not rely on an agent as a substitute for a doctor, lawyer, financial advisor, or other qualified professional, and verify anything important before acting on it.

Never use SocioBots for emergencies. If you or someone else may be in danger, contact your local emergency services.

Agents are third-party content

Most agents on SocioBots are built by independent creators. Creators are not our employees, agents, or partners, and publishing an agent on SocioBots does not mean we endorse it or verify what it says. We review published agents for policy violations, but the creator is responsible for their agent.

Any dispute you have with a creator or another user is between you and them. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you release us from all claims, demands, and damages arising out of or connected to disputes with other users or creators.

Credits and purchases

  • Usage of agents is metered in credits. Some credits are free; more can be purchased. Free credits are granted at our discretion, and we may change or withdraw them at any time.
  • Payments are processed by our payment provider or by the app store you purchased through. Prices and what a purchase includes are shown at the time of purchase, and we may change prices and how many credits a feature costs.
  • Credits are a limited license to use the service. They are not money, deposits, or stored value; they have no cash value and are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
  • All purchases are final. Credits, including unused credits, are non-refundable, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
  • Credits are consumed by each agent action based on the resources it uses, regardless of the outcome. Credits are not restored when output is inaccurate, incomplete, or not what you hoped for.
  • Purchases made through Apple's App Store or Google Play are also subject to that store's terms, and refunds for those purchases are handled by the store.

Your content

  • You keep ownership of the content you create on SocioBots: your messages, files, agents, skills, and collections.
  • You grant us the license we need to operate the service: to store, process, transmit, and display your content in order to provide SocioBots to you and, for content you choose to publish, to other users.
  • You are responsible for your content. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share. We respond to reports of infringing content sent to support@sociobots.com.
  • If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.

Publishing agents

If you publish an agent, a skill, or a collection, some extra rules apply:

  • You are responsible for what your agent does and says. Configure it in good faith.
  • Do not impersonate people or brands, mislead users about what your agent can do, or design an agent to extract users' personal data.
  • Published agents and their updates go through review. We may reject, unlist, or disable an agent at any time, including immediately when we believe it is harmful.
  • An agent's listing must honestly describe what it can access. Changing an agent's behavior through an update in a deceptive way is not allowed.

Acceptable use

Do not use SocioBots to:

  • break the law or infringe the rights of others;
  • harass, defraud, or harm people;
  • generate or spread malware, spam, or content that sexualizes minors (zero tolerance);
  • probe, attack, or circumvent our safety systems, review processes, or usage limits;
  • scrape the service or access it with automated tools we have not authorized;
  • resell or white-label the service without our written permission.

Connected services

You can connect third-party services (like a calendar) and allow agents to use them. By default, consequential actions ask for your approval before they run, and you can revoke a connection at any time. Third-party services have their own terms, and we are not responsible for them. You are responsible for the actions you approve and for the permission rules you set.

Our service

  • SocioBots, including its software, design, and brand, belongs to us and our licensors. These terms do not give you any rights to it beyond using the service.
  • The service evolves. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue the service. We will be thoughtful about changes that affect your data.

Termination

You can stop using SocioBots and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or use the service in a way that harms others or the platform, and we may act immediately and without prior notice where needed to protect users or the service. Where reasonable, we will give you a chance to export your data.

Disclaimers and assumption of risk

SocioBots is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that agent output will be accurate or fit for any particular purpose.

You use SocioBots at your own risk. Agents are built by third-party creators and their replies are generated by AI. You accept the risk that agent output may be wrong and that actions you approve may have consequences, and you are solely responsible for how you use and act on anything the service produces.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we and everyone involved in operating SocioBots are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to the service, agents, agent output, creators, connected services, or these terms, under any legal theory, even if we were advised such damages were possible.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims combined is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose or 100 US dollars (or the equivalent in your local currency). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SocioBots and its operators, owners, employees, contractors, and partners from and against any claims, demands, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to:

  • your use of the service;
  • your content, including files you upload and agents, skills, or collections you publish;
  • actions taken by agents on your connected services;
  • your violation of these terms or of any law or regulation;
  • your violation of anyone else's rights, including intellectual property rights;
  • your dispute with another user or creator.

We may take over the exclusive defense of any matter subject to indemnification by you, in which case you agree to cooperate with us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If a change is material, we will notify you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use SocioBots after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

Disputes

If you have a problem with the service, contact us first at support@sociobots.com and we will try in good faith to resolve it informally. Where permitted by law, any claim arising from these terms or the service must be brought within one year of the event giving rise to it, and each party may bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as part of a class or representative action. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in remain unaffected.

App stores

If you use SocioBots through an app downloaded from Apple's App Store or Google Play, these terms are between you and us, not with Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app, are not responsible for handling any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims), and are third-party beneficiaries of these terms with the right to enforce them against you. You confirm you are not in a country subject to a relevant government embargo and are not on any restricted-parties list.

General

  • Severability. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, that part is limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the rest stays in full effect.
  • No waiver. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement. These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the service.
  • Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms, for example in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
  • Survival. Sections that by their nature should survive termination do survive, including those covering your content license, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and disputes.
